Our mission is to help clients find and correct billing errors,
secure refunds, reduce current costs for equal or better
service, and efficiently manage costs over the long term.

We strive to complete our tasks in a manner that allows our
clients to focus on their primary responsibilities with a minimal
amount of time and interruption.

OUR HISTORY
URS was founded as Utilities Reduction Specialists in
1991 by, from left to right: Kenneth J. Burkel, Vice President
Sales & Marketing; Steven D. Mann, President; Justus E. Harris,
Vice President Client Services who joined the firm as a partner
in 1993.

 


Our Tax Reduction Specialists division began in 2001.

EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE
URS has worked with over 450 clients with a geographical focus in the Carolinas,
Tennessee, and Virginia. Our clients comprise over 130 city and county
governments, 70 hospitals and healthcare facilities, as well as numerous financial
institutions, real estate companies, colleges and universities, publishing companies,
distributors and manufacturers.
